Rules of the yard

Drag back from the basket and let go. The further you pull, the harder it flies. Pull to one side to aim the other way.
Everything you break goes on the tally. When one pot brings down the next, the chain pays more for each piece.
One piece per round carries Hester's blue thumbprint. That's her keeper. Break it and the round counts for half.
Reach the chalked quota before the basket's empty, or the gate shuts for another year. Unthrown balls are worth 5 each.
After round two: three pulls of the cutting wire. Every lump within 60 g of 500 g is rolled into a heavy clay ball for the kiln stack.
